Enters Second Quarter With Over Half Million Dollars on Hand

Columbus, OH – Franklin County Commissioner Paula Brooks announced today that she raised $280,594 in her campaign to unseat incumbent Congressman Patrick Tiberi in the fundraising period that closed March 31.  The strong fundraising quarter leaves Brooks with over $500,000 cash on hand.

“I am proud to see the continued momentum in my campaign for the 12th Congressional District,” said Paula Brooks. “It is clear as I talk to members of the community that people are looking for us to work together to find solutions to bring middle class jobs back to Central Ohio.  My record of supporting small businesses and fiscal prudence is resonating throughout the district as excitement for my campaign continues to grow.”

More than ninety four percent (94%) of Brooks’ contributors were individual donors, who know that it is time to stop the partisan bickering and bring real common sense solutions to Washington that focus on helping our communities and not the special interests.  As Commissioner, Paula Brooks helped create good-paying jobs in a fiscally responsible way, continually earning Franklin County the highest possible – double AAA – rating.
