Paula Brooks Added to the DCCC's Competitive Red to Blue Fundraising Program
Mar 10, 2010
Columbus, OH – Paula Brooks announced today that her campaign has earned a spot on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) highly competitive Red to Blue program by surpassing demanding fundraising goals and skillfully demonstrating to voters that she will work to create and retain jobs, stand up for the middle class, and fight for central Ohio.
“I am honored that so many people in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District have joined our grassroots campaign to stand up for our children and middle class families while strengthening our economy and exercising fiscal prudence,” said Paula Brooks. “The early strength we have demonstrated by being named to the Red to Blueprogram means we have the support, confidence, and momentum it takes to win in November.”
“Paula Brooks has come out of the gate strong and the Red to Blue program will give her the financial and structural edge to be even more competitive in November,” said DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen. “Brooks is generating excitement and is making the case to voters that her commitment to creating jobs and standing up for the middle class is far better than turning back the clock to the failed Bush policies of the past.”
